Eftersom tråden ändå spårat ur så kan jag medela att jag deltog i första VM för radiostyrda bilar.
Året 1976 och platsen Pomona i L-A USA.
Då var det 1:8 bilar och 3.5 cubik motorer. Jag körde ett hembygge med trimmad SuperTiger motor.
Hur det gick :roll: :?:

Bästa Svensk. plats 66 av 107 startande.
Vi var faktiskt ett tiotal Svenskar på plats.

Fräck kuriosa Bosse!! Är det jag som förstår bilden dåligt, men visst ser dosorna ut att vara föregångaren till "pistol" kontrollerna som är vanliga idag?

En vild gissning är att det inte var slalom ni tävlade i? :mrgreen:

Ingen slalom här :twisted:
Vi byggde om sändarna på detta vis. En slotcar "pump" med länkage till en av styrstickorna fick agera gas/broms.
