Yes they are 968 brake scoops. Some parts were not installed when the pic was taken. It's my friend Pete's car. It's one of the finest 951's in Finland. Just ask Gurra what he think about that car... He visited Pete's garage last November when he was here in Finland. We had a several hours coffee breake at Pete's kitchen; talked mainly about turbos. Pete's wife though we are just grazy
That ring in the picture is for handbrake shoes. without it shoes will not align with GT3 rear disk's handbrake drum. If you have old ET car then GT3 rear disk is a direct fit.
Next handbrakeshoe adapters does not have any weldings. It will be machined from a single aluminium billet piece for extra strenght.
You cannot install GT3 / GT2 six piston or even GT3 four piston calipers to 951 S or M030 968 and M030 S2. There is a difference of distance of mounting holes in calipers. It will need special adapter, in which all holes are placed to radial order. Quite tricky adapter to fabricate. I just visitied my machine shop and we discussed that kind of adapter. It can be done and most likely we will have a prototype ready this spring. Guess how many people around a world have asked this kind of adapter !
If someone want's to have a complete adapter set for 951, S2 or 968 (not 951 S or M030 S2 & 968) to have a possibility to bolt on GT2 front and GT3 rear calipers with working handbrake take a contact to me. We will have Adapters ready latest on week 14. I already made an order for three complete sets to USA & Australia. More oders means cheaper price.
