924 & 944 ARP bultar - Gruppköp

Det finns ett gruppköp på www.924.org för er som tänker renovera eller bygga nu motor. Dessa bultar finns inte att köpa hos Porsche och går inte att beställa någon annanstans heller. Porsche rekomenderar inte att man återanvänder de gamla. Jag har redan köpt mina och skall inte ha - vill bara hjälpa mina 924 vänner.

Märk väl att det inte går att köpa dessa på annat sätt än genom gruppköpen - de tilverkas bara på beställning.

"Just a reminder that we are currently running a group buy for the ARP 924 2.0L rod bolts. These rod bolts are NLA from Porsche, and the only way to get them is to participate in the group buy. ARP will not be stocking these, so it is doubtful that they will ever be available through any of the usual ARP distributors. You can only get them via the group buy. Right now, I have commitment for 12 sets, but I need 3 more participants to get to the 15 set price break. If necessary, I'll purchase the 3 sets myself to put into inventory for Ideola's Garage, but I'd rather not front-end the capital if we could get 3 more participants."

"Also, as a result of the activity with ARP, I can now get the ARP 251-4701 head studs which are a direct fit for the 924 heads. These are superior to both the OEM items and the Raceware studs, due to the use of ARP2000 material and the allen-keyed heads, which greatly ease installation. These head studs sell for $132 at the big catalog resellers, but we can get them for $108.20 + shipping, which is the lowest price you'll find anywhere.

For those of you with 2.5L motors, I can also get the ARP 204-6002 rod bolts for the 924S/944/951 platform at a cost of $139 per set. I believe this is also the lowest price I've seen anywhere for these items (they sell for $160 at the big catalog resellers)."
