Hej,
I just moved to Göteborg for work and have now bought a nice silver 944!
It looks great but unfortunately that is all it does at the moment.

I was hoping there might be a few poeple out there who can give me some advice on where to get parts for my car and recommend if there are any good garages that specialise in these cars round Göteborg.

My immediate problems are that the car is overheating because the cooling F-n does not come on. Also the bleed screw for the cooling system snapped while i was taking it off!

If anyone knows where I can get a replacement bleed screw and washer from or has any advice on what to look for with the cooling problem I'll be very grateful to hear it.

Thanks!

Alex.

(I'm sorry I can't understand Swedish yet so maybe I should post in a different section?)

I've heard problems with the cooling F-n now and then.
Check out the "Clarks Garage" webpage:
http://www.clarks-garage.com

There's a section about troubleshooting the cooling system:

Best regards /Jon

Edit: What's your car's build year?

Thanks for the replies.
Its a shame that guy moved, he would have been really close by to me.
I'll do a bit of reading up on the cooling system.

Cheers!

Alex.

Yor problem sounds like what i had and there is a "sensor" on the left side of the cooler that was broken on my car, so the f*n did not start and the car overheated.

God luck!!
